Ricardo Catalan

Ricardo Catalan is a Senior Inspector at the Dutch DPA, where they coordinate the DPO helpdesk and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Previously, they served as a Data Protection Officer at Universiteit Leiden, promoting GDPR compliance and representing the university before the Dutch data protection authorities. Prior to that, Ricardo was a Senior Consultant at Gold Stripe Consulting, specializing in international tax consulting and planning. They began their career as a tax advisor at Buren NV and also held an officer position at ING Bank. Additionally, Ricardo has been the Chairman of Stichting Pluto since 2013, focusing on education for gifted children.
