Alan Covington

Alan Covington has extensive experience in the field of production engineering, currently serving as a Production Engineering Specialist at EOG Resources since September 2017, following a previous role as Senior Production Engineer. Prior to EOG Resources, Alan worked as an Advanced Mathematics Teacher at Edmond Public Schools and held positions as Senior Production Engineer at Devon Energy and Production Engineer II at XTO Energy. Alan began a career in the oil and gas industry with roles at Arena Resources Inc. and internships with Chevron, where foundational skills were developed. Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Tulsa, completed in 2008.
