Grant Purdum

Grant Purdum is an experienced design professional currently serving as Design Hub Editor at EO Media Group since January 2023, leading a team responsible for producing ten newspapers across Oregon. Previously, Grant held the position of Regional Design Editor at Coeur d'Alene Press and worked for Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK as a Designer and Copy Editor. Grant's extensive background includes roles as Features Editor at Tiny Mix Tapes and Editor/Designer at The E.W. Scripps Company, where responsibilities spanned design, copy editing, and supervision of the features desk. Additional experience includes writing a monthly column for Consequence of Sound and working as an editor/designer for Post Star Newspaper. Grant also managed special sections at The Lewiston Tribune. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Washington State University, obtained in 2005.
