Juan Carlos Lopez Gutierrez

Juan Carlos Lopez Gutierrez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international business, trade, and investment strategies, primarily focused on the Latin American market. Currently serving as Managing Director and Business Partner at Global Strategies & Tools since 2007, Juan Carlos leads initiatives to promote trade and investment. In 2023, Juan Carlos took on the role of Managing Director for Latin America at EON Reality, advancing AI-powered VR/AR solutions in the region. Additionally, as Managing Director and Trade Representative for Investissement Québec in Colombia since 2022, Juan Carlos fosters economic relationships between Quebec and Colombia. Previous roles include Managing Director for Colombia and Mexico at the Georgia Department of Economic Development, Operations Manager at both ITOS and Pagus World, and co-founding several companies, including Proyector SAS and Organización Sentido Común. Education was attained at Universidad de Los Andes, earning a degree in Industrial Engineering.
