Tony Higgins

Tony Higgins has extensive experience in the power generation sector, currently serving as Plant Manager at Connah's Quay Power Station for Uniper since October 2016, after previously holding the role of Assistant Plant Manager. Prior to this, Tony worked as a Production Manager at Eon UK for a 1340MW CCGT power station, while also managing asset risk for a fleet of CCGT and coal-fired power stations across the UK and Western Europe. Tony began a career with E.ON UK in May 2001, progressing from Electrical Engineer to Asset Risk Manager and leading a team of engineers and craftsmen to maintain coal-fired power stations. Tony holds a Master of Science in Asset Management and Maintenance Engineering from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor of Engineering in Plant Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University. Education was completed at Wirral Grammar Boys School.
