Vassilis Golfinopoulos

Vassilis Golfinopoulos is a Board Member at EORTC and a medical oncologist with experience in both the inpatient and outpatient setting with all solid tumor types. Vassilis has also conducted research with multi-institutional phase I, II, and III clinical studies, academic and industry-backed or conducted. In addition, they have authored the Metastatic Gastric Cancer Section of the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology Consensus Multidisciplinary Guidelines in Oncology and updated the Pancreatic and Hepatobiliary Chemotherapy Guidelines of Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology, on behalf of the Hellenic Medicines Agency (EOF).

Vassilis Golfinopoulos was educated at the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in Greece, where they received their Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Oncology. Vassilis also has a Medical Degree from the University of Patra in Greece. In addition, they are certified by the Center for Creative Leadership in Leading for Organizational Impact: The Looking Glass Experience.
