Douglas Welch

Douglas Welch has worked as the President at Eos Lightmedia since 2008. Prior to that, they were the Owner of Douglas Welch Design from 1983 to 2011.

Douglas Welch has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Alberta, which they obtained from 1971 to 1976. Douglas also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from The University of British Columbia, and is a Certified Lighting Designer (CLD) from the Certified Lighting Designer Commission. In addition, they have a Lighting Certified (LC) qualification from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP). Most recently, they have pursued a Mini-MBA program at the UBC Sauder School of Business, expected to be completed in 2021.
