Carlos Aponte

Carlos Aponte has extensive experience in sales and technical roles within the chemical and materials industries. Currently serving as the National Accounts Manager for Functional Additives at EP Minerals since May 2005, Aponte develops and implements corporate strategies to enhance sales of Industrial Minerals across various markets, including Architectural & Industrial Coatings and Plastics. Prior to this role, Aponte worked at BASF from January 1997 to April 2005 as a Senior Technical Sales Representative, focusing on sales strategies for Water-Based Acrylic & SBR polymers. Aponte's career began at Rohm and Haas from January 1988 to December 1997 as a Technical Service & Product Development Chemist, where responsibilities included product development for acrylic adhesives. Aponte holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Philadelphia University, completed between 1989 and 1992, and attended Temple University from 1986 to 1988.
