Stewert John

Stewart John has an extensive work history in the field of mechanical maintenance and equipment supervision. Stewert began their career as a Welder at Malaysia Shipyard & Engineering (MSE) in 1997 and worked there for two years. Stewert then moved on to Keppel Offshore & Marine as a Marine Mechanic and Fitter Assembler, where they focused on servicing and repairing main engines, valves, pumps, and other machinery. After four years, they joined TURCOMP BMB SDN BHD as a Senior Rotating Technician, specializing in overhauling rotating equipment for various clients.

In 2009, Stewart joined Schlumberger Oilfield Services as a Wireline Maintenance Technician, responsible for maintaining Wireline equipment and servicing high-profile projects in Brunei, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Stewert then transitioned to E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd (EPOMS) as a Senior Operation Technician (Mechanical), where they oversaw repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics of rotating and static equipment on offshore platforms. After three years, they joined BP as a Senior Mechanical Commissioning Technician, leading mechanical and piping activities for pre-commissioning and start-up of compressor stations and metering projects.

Stewart returned to EPOMS in 2019, this time as a Maintenance Supervisor in the Roving Division, providing specialist support and troubleshooting for rotating equipment on offshore facilities. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Head of Project at E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd, where they manage project initiatives and ensures their successful execution.

Throughout their career, Stewart John has demonstrated expertise in mechanical maintenance, equipment overhauls, and troubleshooting of various types of rotating and static equipment.

Stewert John has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from North Borneo University College - NBUC, Sabah Malaysia. Stewert also holds a Bachelor of Facility Science and Project Management from Open University Malaysia. In addition, they have a National ITE Certificate (NTC 2) in Marine Technology from the Institute of Technical Education, Singapore.

Stewert John also has a certification as an IICS 4.1 certified offshore crane inspector in API RP 2D, obtained from TUV Nord. The specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
