Paulo Almeida

Paulo Almeida is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in water management and maintenance, currently serving as Team Leader at the Interventions Command Center of EPAL - Empresa Portuguesa das Águas Livres, SA since September 1991. With a strong background in logistics management and budget control for the water distribution network in the Lisbon Region, Paulo has held various roles, including Controller and Maintenance Management, and previous positions such as Team Leader at Maintenance Manager and Specialized Civil Construction and Hydraulic Technician. Prior to EPAL, Paulo worked as a Specialized Mechanic in electronic and electrical systems at Fixanco and served in the Portuguese Air Force, specializing in avionics maintenance. Educational qualifications include multiple associate degrees in Water Technologies and Management from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and Nova School of Business and Economics, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Universidade Aberta.
