Cornelia Baptista has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Cornelia started their career as an Admissions Team Member at Canada's Wonderland in 2012. Cornelia then worked as a Graphic Design Intern at StyleDemocracy and as a Youth Development Officer at Canadian Forces - Cadet Instructors Cadre (CIC). In 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant at OCAD University.

From 2014 to 2015, Cornelia worked as a Freelance E-Book Layout & Website Designer, as well as a UX/UI Designer. In 2015, they became a Creative Lead/Front-End Developer at Lux 9 Inc. Cornelia then joined doug&partners in 2016 as a Digital Designer, staying with the company until 2019.

In 2019, Cornelia joined The Taylor Group as an Ideator & Art Director, where they were responsible for crafting innovative brand experiences. Cornelia later transitioned to the role of Senior Experience Designer, working directly with top-tier clients in various industries. In 2021, they joined EPAM Continuum in the same role, focusing on user-centered solutions and leading aspects of design projects.

Throughout their career, Cornelia has gained experience in UX/UI design, user research, usability testing, creative problem-solving, brand experiences, and innovative solutions for virtual events and interactive engagements.

Cornelia Baptista pursued their education at various institutions, beginning with Ascension of Our Lord Secondary School, where they obtained their Ontario Highschool Diploma between 2006 and 2010. Cornelia subsequently attended OCAD University from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree in Graphic Design. In 2014, they furthered their education at Sheridan College, where they achieved an Ontario College Graduate Certificate with High Honors in Web Design.

Cornelia continued to expand their knowledge and skills by enrolling in several short-term courses and certificate programs. In 2015, they completed a course on CSS and JavaScript Frameworks at OCAD University, focusing on web development. The following year, they undertook a Dynamic Web Art and Design PHP Course at OCAD University. Additionally, they successfully completed the MBA Business Essentials Certificate Program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 2020, concentrating on Business Administration and Management.

Cornelia also acquired expertise in User Experience (UX) Design through two different programs. In 2019, they attended General Assembly to study User Experience Design, while in 2017, they pursued the Fundamentals of User Experience Design course at George Brown College.

In terms of additional certifications, Cornelia obtained a Standard First Aid with CPR A + AED certification from St. John Ambulance, Peel-Dufferin in May 2013. Cornelia also possesses a G Class Driver's License issued by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, although the exact date of acquisition is unknown. Furthermore, they completed the CIC Occupational Training Course in 2014 and the CIC Intermediate Officer Training Course in 2018 at the Regional Cadet Instructor School.
