John Bower

John Bower, Ph.D. serves as the Associate Director of Instructional Design at EPAM Systems since May 2023. With a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. in Music from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Composition from Berklee College of Music, John has held various faculty positions at esteemed institutions such as The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, St. Olaf College, The Ohio State University, The Catholic University of America, and American University. Additionally, John has extensive experience as an E-learning Consultant, focusing on information and cyber security training solutions. Previous roles include Learning Experience Designer at Forrester and Research Associate at Duke University, where contributions were made to collaborative research involving virtual reality and multiplexed sensor data analysis.
