Dan Tapoveti has extensive work experience in various roles within the engineering industry. Dan began their career at INSPET SA as a Construction Engineer/Project Lead from 1993 to 1999. Dan then worked at Precision Castparts as a Manufacturing Manager from 2002 to 2004. After that, they joined Cameron, where they served as a Projects and Maintenance Manager from 2004 to 2005 and later as a Manufacturing Project Engineer from 2005 to 2008. Dan then moved to AMEC as a Project Quality Specialist from 2008 to 2010. After that, they worked at Encana Corporation as a Field Mechanical/Piping Engineer from 2010 to 2011. Dan then joined Husky Energy as a Project Quality Specialist from 2011 to 2013. Their next role was at Enbridge, where they worked as a Quality Management Specialist from 2013 to 2016. Currently, they hold the position of Project Lead at EPCOR starting from 2016. Throughout their career, their responsibilities have included project management, quality assurance, engineering support, and adherence to national standards and regulatory requirements.

Dan Tapoveti holds a Master's degree in Oil and Gas Field Machines and Equipment from Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiești, which they completed from 1986 to 1992. Dan pursued further education at the University of Alberta, specializing in Construction Management from 2018 to 2021. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including Certified Construction Management Professional (CCMP) from the University of Alberta in 2021, Lead Auditor ISO 9001 from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2012, and Lean 6 Sigma GB from Cameron in 2008. Dan also has certifications in Project Management, Quality Management, and Welding Inspection and Metallurgy from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). Currently, they are pursuing an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, expected to be completed in 2023.
