Des Alvey

Des Alvey has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. In 1999, they started their career as an Electrical Design Engineer at BBS Consulting Engineers, where they worked until 2001. From 2004 to 2008, they served as a Technical Sales Representative at Exide Network Power. In 2009, they joined Talon Energy Services as a Construction Project Coordinator and eventually progressed to the roles of Construction Project Manager and Business Development Manager, a position they held until 2017. Since 2017, they have been working at EPCOR, where they have held various managerial roles, including Equipment Coordinator, Manager of Warehousing & Inventory, Manager of Facilities & Real Estate, and Manager of Customer Construction. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Project Delivery and Operations at EPCOR.

Des Alvey completed a Diploma in Electrical Engineering & Control Systems from Technological University Dublin in 2003. From 2016 to 2020, Des studied Construction Management at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), earning a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree.
