Pekka Kanninen

Pekka Kanninen is an experienced engineer specializing in Model-Based Development (MBD) and thermal engineering, currently serving as an MBD Engineer at Epec Oy since May 2022. Prior to this role, Pekka worked as a Hydrodynamics Engineer at Meyer Turku from January 2016 to May 2022 and as an R&D Engineer at ABB Oy from April 2006 to January 2016, focusing on structural analysis using finite element methods (FE-method) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for heat transfer analysis and fan dimensioning. Pekka holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Aalto University and has additional education from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 2003 to 2006.
