Daniel Hernández Maldonado

Daniel Hernández Maldonado has a diverse work experience. Daniel started their career at the Materials Research Institute (IIM) in 2012 as a Doctoral Research Intern in Polymer semiconductors synthesis. In 2015, they worked as a Doctoral Research Intern at the Optics Research Center (CIO) where they focused on Organic Solar Cell elaboration. Daniel then completed their PhD in Organic Photovoltaics at CNRS, LCC-UPR 8241 from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, they joined Dowel Group as a Confirmed Consultant and was responsible for sales and business development, as well as client portfolio management. Currently, they are at EPEX SPOT, starting as a Front Office Auction Market Operator in 2019. Daniel gradually moved up roles, becoming a Key Account Manager, then a Senior Key Account Manager, and now holds the position of Head of Sales Central and Western Europe.

Daniel Hernández Maldonado graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí in 2011 with a degree in General Chemistry. Daniel then attended the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rouen from 2009 to 2010, where they focused on Fine Chemistry. In 2011, they began their doctoral studies in Organic Photovoltaics at the Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, which they completed in 2015. Lastly, from 2015 to 2016, Daniel pursued an Advanced Master's in Energy Marketing and Management at the Grenoble Ecole de Management, specializing in Energy Business and Project Management.
