Grant Kaplan, Esq. is a corporate associate at EPGD Business Law since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an associate at SERBER & ASSOCIATES, P.A. from March 2022 to November 2022 and working as a student attorney at the Entrepreneurship Law Clinic at American University Washington College of Law from January to April 2021, where Grant represented pro bono historically underrepresented entrepreneurs. Grant also held the position of Dean's Fellow at the Center on International Commercial Arbitration from January to May 2019, focusing on legal research and analysis of arbitration treaties and laws. Prior to legal roles, Grant served as Managing Director of Global Special Services at Hazelwood Street Consultants, LLC from March 2010 to August 2018, where responsibilities included crisis management and hostage negotiations. Grant holds a Doctor of Law degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland.

Our litigation practice emphasizes domestic and international litigation, arbitration, and appeals, concentrating on commercial matters affecting businesses and individuals. Our transactional practice aims to provide a full service experience to our business clients, assisting with tax, estate planning, immigration and contract negotiations. Built with a business perspective always in mind – the founder has an MBA in finance, we have represented various smaller publicly-traded companies, privately-held businesses, and individuals in a variety of issues. In litigation, we have experience in representing clients before the courts at the state, federal, and appellate level, as well as in the executive branch tax courts. Our firm always brings an approach towards the most efficient and beneficial results for our clients, no matter the circumstances. We look to build a relationship through the life cycle of the businesses we represent, we are there to mark the milestones and successes, and to fight and protect against adversity.
