Syamala is a highly-skilled professional with 28 years of experience in the Pharma and Biotech industry ranging from being a statistician, statistical programmer to global head of programming. A very effective, results-oriented statistical programming leader with a unique mix of technical, business, and leadership expertise. A successful and committed leader, directing the Statistical Programming organizations in establishing goals, employee recruitment, retention, and development through training, coaching, and mentoring. Reputation for handling escalation, building strong, profitable relationships, creating best in industry programming groups globally, and providing strategic and operational direction.

Prior to joining Ephicacy, Syamala has been a programming leader for major pharmaceutical companies and CROs such as Novartis, Alcon, ICON, and Covance.

Syamala holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics and a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Statistics.
