Tonya is an executive nurse leader who worked at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center from 2010 to 2015 as the director of Medical/Surgical and Post-Surgical Inpatient Services. She returned to Ephraim McDowell Health in March 2023 as chief nursing officer at the two critical access hospitals. She has expertise in all facets of healthcare management and administration with a proven track record of improving patient care, leading successful teams, and reducing unnecessary expenditures. In 2014, she earned a master’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix.
