Kimberly Hoi

Kimberly Hoi has a diverse background in scientific research. Kimberly is currently working as a Scientist at EpiBiologics since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco from September 2015 to May 2023. In this role, they focused on studying oligodendrocyte precursor cell signaling in central nervous system development and white matter injury repair, with relevance to Multiple Sclerosis and neonatal Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy. Kimberly also has experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at UCLA Department of Neurology from October 2012 to June 2015, where they researched amyloid beta folding and assembly in relation to Alzheimer's disease and amyloidosis. Additionally, they worked as a Visiting Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Washington from June 2014 to August 2014, investigating the role of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway in CNS regeneration.

Kimberly Hoi has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience from UCLA. Kimberly also holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco.
