Maia Vinogradova

Maia Vinogradova has a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Maia is currently serving as the Senior Director of Protein Sciences at EpiBiologics and also holds the role of Founder and Advisor at a Stealth Mode Startup Biotech. Previously, they were the Founder and Vice President of Research and Discovery at the same startup from May 2022 to October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Maverick Therapeutics, where they held the positions of Senior Director (Protein Sciences) from July 2020 to April 2022, and Director (Protein Sciences) from January 2017 to June 2020. Maia also worked at Harpoon Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist from August 2016 to January 2017. Before that, they were a Senior Scientific Researcher at Genentech from July 2012 to August 2016. Maia started their career as a Research Scientist at UCSF from February 1999 to July 2012, where they focused on Biochemistry and worked on various projects related to motor proteins, nuclear receptors, and small molecule modulators. Maia began their professional journey as a Ph.D. student at Moscow State University from 1992 to 1995.

Maia Vinogradova completed their education at Moscow State University. From 1987 to 1992, they pursued a BS and Master's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry. Maia then continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Ph.D in Enzyme kinetics and Biochemistry, completing their education in 1995.
