Gordon Cameron has extensive experience in the fields of machine learning and technical supervision within the animation and gaming industries. Currently serving as the Machine Learning Pipeline Director at Epic Games since October 2021, Gordon leads a team focused on developing tools that enhance creative workflows in real-time applications, especially for film and media. Prior to this role, Gordon spent nearly two decades at Pixar Animation Studios, where positions included Technical Supervisor and Supervising Technical Director for projects such as "Turning Red" and "Incredibles 2," overseeing groundbreaking advancements in animation technology. Earlier career highlights include development and leadership roles at Softimage, contributions to SIGGRAPH's Computer Graphics newsletter, and foundational work in visualization engineering at the Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre. Gordon holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Aberdeen.
