Lucy Niess

Lucy Niess, Ph.D., is a User Experience Researcher at Epic Games, bringing expertise from previous roles as an Associate User Experience Researcher and a qualitative UX researcher on a contract basis at Misfit Island. Lucy has a solid academic background, having earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Communication Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from California State University, Fullerton. Additional experience includes roles as an instructor, researcher, and graduate teaching associate at Arizona State University, as well as adjunct professor positions at Phoenix College and Paradise Valley Community College.
