Sarah Jay

Sarah Jay has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sarah is currently working as a Content Strategist and Staff Researcher/Writer at Epic Gardening since April 2023, where they previously held the role of Staff Writer from January 2022 to April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Writer at rosaleenjay.com from October 2020 to January 2022.

Sarah's professional journey also includes a position as a Senior Administrative Specialist at the University of North Texas College of Visual Arts and Design from November 2017 to October 2020. Sarah started their career at the University of North Texas as a Student Services Specialist I, aiding in academic record management and student communication, from July 2015 to August 2020. Additionally, they served as an Anthropology Teaching Assistant from August 2012 to August 2020, contributing to record keeping, exam creation, and policy negotiations.

Sarah gained further experience as a Research Analyst (Temporary, project-by-project) at Qualvu from November 2014 to June 2015. Sarah also worked as a Leasing Agent at Jack Bell Property Management from December 2014 to April 2015, where they focused on customer service and rental processes.

Early in their career, Sarah held a role as a UNT Student Assistant at the COMM 1010 Office from January 2011 to August 2013, adeptly handling various tasks for multiple course sections. Sarah also worked as a Temporary Employee at Voertman's in December 2009 and served as a Manager on Duty at Cupboard Natural Foods from October 2007 to May 2009.

Sarah Jay attended Lone Star College from 2004 to 2005, but did not obtain a degree or declare a field of study. Sarah then attended the University of North Texas from 2005 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Sarah further pursued their education at the University of North Texas from 2012 to 2014, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Community Development.
