Jake Kapellen

Jake Kapellen is a seasoned software development professional with over a decade of experience, primarily at Epic since September 2012, where Jake currently serves as Software Development Product Lead. In this role, Jake oversees the trajectory of two products, ensures customer needs are translated into effective projects, and leads development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Prior to this, Jake held various positions at Epic, including Software Development Team Lead and Software Developer, contributing to inpatient electronic medical record systems. Additional experience includes LAN Administrator at Anixter, Computer Technician roles at Aspire Technology Solutions and UW-Madison DoIT, and Advanced Technician at The Black Box. Jake earned a B.S. with Honors in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011.
