Morgan Oatley

Morgan Oatley is a Research Scientist I at EpiCypher, Inc. since September 2023, with a strong background in molecular biology and developmental biology. Previously, Morgan served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from June 2019 to June 2023, focusing on BMP regulators SMAD6 and SMAD7 in vascular flow response and employing various experimental techniques including RNA sequencing and confocal microscopy. Morgan's doctoral research at EMBL from May 2015 to May 2019 utilized single cell transcriptomics to explore hematopoietic stem cell differentiation, leveraging advanced methods like CRISPR-Cas9 for genome editing. An internship at Monash University from June 2012 to January 2014 provided early research experience.
