Anna Makropoulou

Anna Makropoulou is a Strategy Associate at Epikast since September 2023 and co-founder of DeSolve Technology, where a carrier for cancer chemotherapeutics was developed. Previously, Anna served as Product Data Leader at Roche, managing a team to ensure data quality in a clinical trial for a rare neurological disease, leading to successful FDA drug approval, and programming for an AI project to enhance data cleaning processes. Co-founding AmiNoMeat, Anna focused on developing a microalgae-derived nutrient additive and secured lab space through startup accelerator support. Earlier experiences include internships at Bioiatriki Healthcare Group and research roles at the National Technical University of Athens and the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens. Anna holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Imperial College London and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the Hellenic American Educational Foundation Athens College.
