Vangelis Vergetis

Vangelis Vergetis has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. Vangelis is currently the Co-founder & CEO of Epikast, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Board Advisor for Intelligencia starting in 2018, and later became the Co-founder & CEO of the same company. During their time at Intelligencia, they played a key role in scaling the company, partnering with top pharma companies and biotechs, and securing two rounds of VC financing. Before their time at Intelligencia, Vangelis worked as a Partner at Hakluyt from 2014 to 2018, and also as an Associate Partner in the Healthcare Practice at McKinsey & Company from 2006 to 2014.

Vangelis Vergetis completed their Ph.D. in Electrical & Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Applied Mathematics from Cornell University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.
