Marina Heinen

Head of Marketing & Business Development at epilot

Marina Heinen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Marina started their career as a Store Assistant at Suti Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG from May 2010 to September 2012. In 2015, Marina worked as an Intern in International Marketing at Gerolsteiner Brunnen GmbH & Co. KG. Marina then joined RWE AG as an Intern in Group Strategy & Innovation from April 2016 to June 2016. Marina worked as a Working Student in Venture Capital at innogy Ventures GmbH for nearly three years, from July 2016 to May 2019. Marina also had a short stint at SMP AG Strategy Consulting as an Associate in May 2018, before transitioning to an Intern role in Strategic Projects at REWE Digital GmbH from January 2018 to April 2018.

Since June 2019, Marina has been working at epilot, a software-as-a-service cloud platform, where they initially served as a Marketing Manager until March 2020. Marina then took on the role of Marketing Team Lead & Business Development from April 2020 to May 2023. Currently, Marina holds the position of Head of Marketing & Business Development at epilot, where they oversee the digital foundation for scaling sales, service, grid, and implementation processes in the energy transition. Marina supports more than 100 enterprise customers by providing modern customer experiences and efficient collaboration management.

Marina Heinen completed their education chronologically as follows. Marina pursued a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in European Business Administration from the University of Portsmouth starting in 2013 and ending in 2015. After that, they attended FH Münster and obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in European Business Programme from 2012 to 2016. Later, Marina pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Münster between 2016 and 2019. Currently, in 2022, they are enrolled at INeKO - Institut a. d. Universität zu Köln für die Entwicklung personaler und interpers. Kompetenzen for a Certified Systemic Coach & Change Manager degree, which will be completed in 2023.
