Sumanth Kanakala

Sumanth Kanakala has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. Sumanth is currently working as a Senior Cloud Engineer at epilot GmbH since November 2021. Prior to this, they were employed at AIThinkers, where they worked as a Technical Lead from March 2019 to October 2021. In this role, they contributed to the development of AeroParts Now, a cloud-based sales acceleration platform for aircraft parts sellers. Sumanth played a key role in building resilient APIs and automating manual processes to improve efficiency.

Before joining AIThinkers, Sumanth worked at Transindia Logistics as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2018 to February 2019. During their time there, they were responsible for developing innovative solutions and migrating the company's monolithic setup to a microservices architecture. Sumanth contributed to revolutionizing the Indian truck industry through technology-driven logistics.

Sumanth also has experience as a Freelance Web Developer, having worked on projects for companies such as Spicywagon, TapIndia, Ukiseen, and Fibsol in 2016. Additionally, they worked as an Intern at TermSheet and as a Technical Lead at RoadBrick during the same year.

In 2014, Sumanth was a Project Member for the Civil Engineering Association at IIT Madras. Sumanth conducted exploratory data analysis and regression modeling to analyze Chennai's traffic data, providing valuable insights into household trips and developing predictive models.
