Dhaval Shah

Dhaval Shah has had a varied and extensive career in the field of design and business strategy. Dhaval began their journey in 2013 as a Fellow at Motiis Innovation Lab, before becoming an Innovation Manager at GIAN (Grassroots Innovation Augmentation Network) in 2014. That same year, they also became a Mentor at DLabs at the Indian School of Business, and the Founder and Business Design Strategist at Abir, A Business Design Consultancy. In 2017, they began working as a Visiting Lecturer, Design Thinking at MICA | The School of Ideas, and as a Business Design Strategist at dyworks - DMA Yellow Works Ltd. In 2019, they became the Director, Programs Design and Strategy at Qequal Foundation, and an Expert at Sattva Consulting. Most recently, in 2020, they took on the role of Head Of Design (Whiteboard.Chat) at epiphani, where they focus on making remote and hybrid teaching and learning effective and engaging for improved learning outcomes.

Dhaval Shah began their educational journey in 1990, when they earned a BE in Computer Science from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Dhaval then went on to receive an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 1998. Finally, in 2011, they earned an MBA in Design Strategy from the California College of the Arts.
