Karen Ybarra

Karen Ybarra is an experienced educator specializing in English Language Arts, currently serving as an English Language Arts Specialist and Second Grade Teacher at Epiphany School since January 2020. Previously, Karen taught Third Grade at Epiphany School from August 2011 to June 2019 and held Third Grade teaching positions at St. Thomas School and Allen-Stevenson School from August 2008 to July 2011 and August 2004 to July 2008, respectively. Karen's teaching experience began at SISULU-WALKER CHARTER SCHOOL OF HARLEM, where a position as a teacher for Bridge Grades 3-4 was held from August 2003 to July 2004. Karen Ybarra holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish Language and Literature, both obtained from The Ohio State University.
