Sarah Jardine

Sarah Jardine has over 28 years of work experience. Sarah began their career in 1993 as a Laser Engineer at Thales. In 2000, they joined Optos, where they held the roles of Director of Manufacturing, Plant Manager, Research and Development Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and Senior Optical Engineer. In 2017, they moved to Optos Plc as Senior Director of Manufacturing. In 2020, they became COO of the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS). In 2022, they will become the Chief Operating Officer of epipole.

Sarah Jardine's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Laser Engineering from Heriot-Watt University from 1992 to 1993, a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Laser Physics and Optoelectronics from the University of Strathclyde from 1988 to 1992, and secondary education from Ayr Academy from 1982 to 1988.
