Jacob Kurtzman

Jacob Kurtzman has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering. Jacob started their career in 2012 as a Software Developer at Plus-it Consulting. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Full-stack Developer at Google, where they designed and developed web applications using Java technologies and Python. Jacob then joined Medline Industries, LP as a Frontend Web Developer in 2014 and worked there until 2020. In this role, they developed and maintained user-friendly frontend applications using various technologies such as React, ReactRedux, Vue, Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, JQuery, and Tailwind CSS. Jacob also worked extensively with Node.js and GraphQL to develop and maintain APIs for the web applications. Additionally, they collaborated with the design team to implement UI designs and ensure responsiveness and mobile-friendliness. Jacob then moved on to Facebook in 2020 as a Frontend Developer, where they collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable software solutions. Jacob implemented best practices for React development and built RESTful APIs using Express.js and Nest.js. Currently, they are working as a Frontend Engineer at Epiq Solutions, where they coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to design and develop visually stunning web applications across diverse industries. Jacob executes complex frontend development tasks using advanced technologies and frameworks like React, Typescript, D3.js, and Redux-Toolkit. Jacob also focuses on driving accessibility and inclusivity standards by adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
