Donna Yu

Donna Yu has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Donna is currently the Chief of Staff at EPIQ Capital Group since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at DoorDash from April 2021 to December 2022 as the Growth Strategy & Operations Senior Manager. From October 2019 to March 2021, Donna was a Senior Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, where they managed multiple projects related to corporate strategy, growth strategy, and private equity/M&A diligence.

In 2019, they were a Summer Associate at Gobi Partners, a venture capital firm. Donna also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at MIT Sloan School of Management from September 2018 to August 2019. Donna had internships at Rakuten as the Chief Executive Innovation Office Intern in 2018 and at Duff & Phelps as an Investment Banking Associate from June 2011 to 2013.

Before starting their MBA, Donna worked at Ashley Stewart, Inc. from October 2013 to June 2017. Donna held the roles of Strategic Advisor (Chief of Staff) to the CEO and Director of CRM & Data Analytics. In this position, they led strategic initiatives across various departments, including FP&A, e-Commerce, Brick & Mortar Retail, Marketing, Tech, and CRM/Data Analytics.

Throughout their career, Donna has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management capabilities, and experience across industries such as healthcare, consumer & industrials, and technology.

Donna Yu received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Data Analytics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their MBA, they attended Cornell University and pursued double majors in Economics and Asian Studies. Additionally, Donna completed a Data Science Immersive program at General Assembly. Donna has also obtained additional certifications including a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute and Series 7, 79, and 63 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Furthermore, they have achieved a WSET Level 1 certification from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
