Anders Hedqvist has held various positions throughout their career. Anders began working at Rolls-Royce Marine in 1988 as a Product Engineer for WaterJet. Anders then joined ABB in 1993 and worked as a Product Responsible for Gas Turbines until 1995. In 1995, they joined Atlas Copco and held multiple roles including Product Responsible/Project Manager, Production Line Manager, Research & Development Manager, Global Technology Development Manager, and Vice President of Research and Development. Anders worked at Atlas Copco until 2017 when they joined Epiroc as the Vice President of Research and Development. Anders later became the Head of Strategic Projects/Programs. During this time, they also served on the Board of Advisors for the CECE Committee for European Construction Equipment and as a Board Member for the Swedish Association for Construction Equipment - SACE.
Anders Hedqvist has a MSc degree in Research & Development, Product Development from Linköping University, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Anders also attended Chalmers University of Technology in 2015 to study International Management of Technology (IMOT) and in 2010 to study Chinese R&D for Executives. In 2003, they attended Stockholm School of Economics for the Executive Management Program FEM. Additionally, they attended the Scandinavian International Management Institute in 2008 to study the Business of Intellectual Property.
