Anna Westerlund

Vice President Group Treasury at Epiroc

Anna Westerlund has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Anna started their career as Head of Accounting at Pöyry, where they were responsible for accounting, management reporting, and reporting to the Head office. Anna then worked as an Accountant at Ramböll Sverige AB, handling general accounting, closings, and system administration.

Anna later joined AssiDomän AB as a Group Accountant, where they were responsible for the consolidation of business areas, management reporting, and annual reports. Anna then joined Billerud AB as a Group Accountant, where they played a key role in building the new organization and implementing ERP and Treasury systems. Their responsibilities also included Group consolidation and management reporting.

Anna then moved to Atlas Copco as a Financial Accounting Specialist in Group Treasury, handling financial transactions, accounting in accordance with IFRS, and improving the closing process. Anna later became the Head of Treasury Control, where they were responsible for financial projections, comprehensive income, financial cash flow, and hedge accounting compliance. Finally, they served as the Head of Business Control - Financial Solutions, leading the Business Control team and supporting the Group with various financial functions.

Anna is currently working at Epiroc as the Vice President of Group Treasury. In this role, they built a new Treasury function during Epiroc's spin-off from Atlas Copco, focusing on financial risks, liquidity, funding, and sustainable financing. Anna also played a crucial role in the planning of the group's capital structure and represented Treasury in the acquisition process.

Anna Westerlund received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Economics from Luleå University of Technology, where they studied from 1992 to 1996.
