Rickard Hammer

Rickard Hammer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development, particularly in the surface drilling sector. Currently serving as the Global Products R&D Manager at Epiroc since June 2018, Rickard ensures sustainable performance and legal compliance for product lines while managing five direct reporting managers. Prior to Epiroc, Rickard held the same title at Atlas Copco from June 1995 to June 2018, as well as various other roles including Product Group Manager and Project Manager, contributing significantly to cross-functional cooperation and product improvement initiatives. Rickard's career began as a Mechanical Designer at Saab AB, where foundational skills in mechanical design and systems integration were developed. Rickard holds an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rudbecksskolan, Örebro.
