Ryan Frandsen Cid

Ryan Frandsen CID has extensive experience in PCB design and engineering. Ryan has held various roles at different companies, including Epirus, Rev Zero Engineering, Inovonics, Suez Analytical Instruments, Syncroness, CANVAS Technology, Stratom Inc., Advanced Energy, and HID Global.

At Epirus, Ryan currently serves as the Principal PCB Designer, where they are responsible for turning the engineering team's designs into printed circuit board assemblies.

Prior to this, Ryan worked as a Senior PCB Design Contractor at Rev Zero Engineering, where they specialized in advanced PCB design, including legacy PCBs and rapid prototyping. Ryan had a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of PCB design.

Ryan also worked at Inovonics as a Senior PCB Designer and Librarian Contractor, where they focused on design size reduction, implementing on-PCB antennas, and creating test fixtures. Ryan also played a role in database library management and updating design procedures.

At Suez Analytical Instruments, Ryan was a Senior PCB Design Contractor and contributed to the development of the next generation of the SUEZ M9 TOC. Ryan also collaborated with the engineering team to create a 1000-component Altium database parts library and designed a test fixture PCB.

Additionally, Ryan had various roles as a Senior PCB Design Contractor at Syncroness, CANVAS Technology, and Stratom Inc., as well as positions as a Printed Circuit Board Designer at Advanced Energy and HID Global. These roles involved responsibilities such as schematic clean-up, component library creation, PCB layout, and collaboration with engineering teams on diverse projects.

Ryan Frandsen CID has a Circuit interconnect designer certification from IPC CID. Ryan attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 1997 to 2003, where they studied Economics and Psychology. In 2006, they obtained a Class C Supervisor certification from IPC, specializing in Building/Construction Finishing, Management, and Inspection.
