Jared Johansen

Jared Johansen is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in robotic systems and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as the Director of Robotic Systems and Senior Research Engineer at EpiSci, Jared has successfully led a DARPA project proposal. Previously, as a Research Assistant at Purdue University, Jared contributed to a multi-million dollar grant focused on activity recognition, achieving top rankings in project phases. Earlier roles at L-3 Communication Systems included Project Team Lead, where Jared significantly reduced testing time and costs, and Principal Investigator, overseeing interdisciplinary teams and budgets. Jared holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and multiple advanced degrees from the University of Utah and Brigham Young University.
