Yi-Yen Chen

Yi-Yen Chen, PhD, currently serves as Associate Director of PCI Ventures at the Penn Center for Innovation and as a Board Member at EpiVario, Inc. With prior experience as Managing Director of Life Sciences at Echo and a board member for Deka Biosciences, Inc., Yi-Yen Chen has a strong background in venture capital and business development within the biotech and medtech sectors. Previous roles include Principal at WI Harper Group, where Yi-Yen Chen focused on investment evaluation and portfolio management, and positions as Postdoctoral Fellow at NKI-AVL and the Institute of Molecular Biology, specializing in systems biology and epigenetics. Yi-Yen Chen holds a PhD in Developmental Biology and Embryology from the University of Tübingen and a Master's degree in Fisheries Science from National Taiwan University.
