Mauro Catopodis

Mauro Catopodis has a strong background in sales, marketing, and strategy within the food and packaging industries. MAURO most recently served as the Corporate Vice President and President for the Americas Region at Essel Propack Limited, the largest laminated tube company in the world. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Amcor, a global leader in flexible and rigid plastics packaging. MAURO also has extensive experience at Cargill, where they served in various commercial and strategic roles, including Commercial Director, Strategy Director, Manager of Business Analysis and Development, and Project Team Leader. Mauro's work at Cargill involved leading the commercial area of the company's second largest business in South America, strategic planning and business development for the company's global Food Ingredients Platform, and spearheading key projects such as the construction of a sugar refinery and expanding the company's presence in ethanol.

Mauro Catopodis received a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 1985 to 1990. MAURO then pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Marketing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1993 to 1995.
