Ton Geelen

Ton Geelen has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the software and technology industry. Ton currently serves as the Managing Director at EPLAN, a leading provider of design software solutions for machine and panel builders. Prior to this, Ton worked as the Country Leader at Nordcloud, an IBM Company, where they were responsible for the business in the Benelux region. Ton has also held the position of Commercial Director at Assai Software Services B.V., where they provided leading-edge SaaS solutions for document management & control. Ton has a strong background in sales and marketing, having served as the Chief Commercial Officer at eVision Industry Software and as the Sales Manager Europe North at Commvault. Ton has previous experience in the energy sector, having worked as the Director of Sales & Marketing at ENGIE Services Nederland NV and in various roles at Atos, including Market Director Energy & Utilities and Sales Director IT Outsourcing. Ton's expertise lies in driving business growth, improving efficiency, and delivering high-quality solutions for clients in diverse industries.

Ton Geelen has a diverse education history. Ton obtained a Drs./MSc degree in Business Administration from Open Universiteit from 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they studied Law at Utrecht University from 1990 to 1992. Ton also pursued a degree in Commerce & Marketing at the University of Applied Sciences Eindhoven from 1985 to 1987. Ton Geelen's education began with a BSc/ing degree in Industrial Automation from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1980 to 1985. In addition to their formal education, Ton Geelen has obtained certifications such as AWS Partner: Sales Accreditation (Business) and Migration Ambassador Foundations (Business) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2022.
