Charles "Kit" has worked for multiple companies, including ePlus inc., NWN Corporation, Katalyst Network Group, SecurEdge Networks, Dimension Data, FORE Systems/Marconi Communications, and The Computer Group. At ePlus inc., they currently hold the role of Global Sr. Solution Architect - Wireless Practice Lead. Charles "Kit" has also served as a Senior Solution Architect - Enterprise Networking at ePlus inc. and NWN Corporation. Throughout their career, Kit has specialized in software-defined networking, wireless LAN solutions, and digital transformation. In the early 1980s, Charles "Kit" Johnston attended Appalachian State University, where they studied Computer Engineering and Electronics. Charles "Kit" later enrolled in Central Piedmont Community College from 1984 to 1986, earning two Associate's Degrees in Computer Engineering Technology and Electronic Engineering Technology. Alongside their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including Cradlepoint Certified Network Professional, Juniper Networks Certified Associate and Specialist in Mist AI, Meraki Masters from Cisco Meraki, and Aruba Certified Sales Specialist from Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company.
