Chris Smolen is an experienced networking professional currently serving as the Manager of Network Engineering at ePlus inc. since December 2010. In this role, Chris manages a team of network engineers to enhance and develop ePlus' global network while focusing on refreshing legacy technologies to improve performance and reduce costs. Previously, Chris held several roles at ePlus, including Senior Network Architect and Portfolio Development Engineer, developing high-availability network solutions and leading technology development efforts. Prior experience includes positions at FairPoint Communications and the State of New Hampshire, where Chris contributed to corporate and state network infrastructures, respectively. Chris also worked at Honeywell Process Solutions and NSPI, gaining expertise in modernizing network systems and supporting Cisco solutions. Educational credentials include a BS in Computer Science from Franklin Pierce University and an AS in Computer Information Systems from NHTI, Concord's Community College.
