Ivan Gil

Ivan Gil is a highly experienced professional in the field of information security, currently serving as a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer at ePlus Inc. since January 2019, where expertise includes governance, risk, and compliance planning, regulatory compliance assessments, data governance, and security program development across various industries. Ivan held significant leadership roles in the (ISC)2 Richmond Metro Chapter, including President and Treasurer, and previously worked as a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer and Enterprise Security Architect at SLAIT Consulting. Ivan's earlier career includes positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where responsibilities ranged from managing network security infrastructure to leading network support teams. Ivan founded Nemesys Corporation, offering data and communications solutions for small to medium-sized businesses, and served as the Cisco Networking Academy Director at Miami Dade College.
