Jason Nies

Jason Nies has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. Jason started their career as a Network Administrator at Gray Plant Mooty in 2002, where they were responsible for maintaining the in-house computer network. In 2004, they joined Enventis as a Support Engineer III, providing level 3 product support. Jason later assumed the role of Senior Solutions Engineer and Senior Sales Engineer at Enventis, where they focused on pre-sales technical support and creating custom solutions. Enventis was acquired by Consolidated Communications (CCI), and Nies continued their role as a Senior Sales Engineer at CCI until the business was acquired by ePlus. At ePlus, Nies held various roles including Solutions Architect and Senior Services Solution Architect, where they provided technical support and developed customized managed services solutions. Currently, they serve as a Collaboration Principal Architect at ePlus. Throughout their career, Nies has gained expertise in networking, server infrastructure, and Cisco Unified Communications products.

Jason Nies completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at St. Cloud State University from 1989 to 2000. Jason also obtained the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE Voice) certification in 2007. In more recent years, Jason has obtained various certifications related to Webex and Zoom, such as the Webex Insider User Group and Zoom Technical Sales Accreditation.
