David Metzler

David Metzler has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career at Whole Foods as a Cafe Assistant from 2008 to 2009. Following that, they worked as a GIS Analyst/ Mapper at Petroleum Field Services from 2009 to 2013, where they developed skills in planning, developing, and implementing efficient processes. David then moved to Halker Consulting LLC. as a GIS Analyst II from 2013 to 2016, where they managed GIS projects and explored Open Source technology for web mapping. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a GIS Analyst II at Summit Engineering Services, Inc., specializing in maintaining tracking scripts and data entry in an ArcGIS environment. David joined Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in 2018 as a GIS Analyst, responsible for analysis and reporting until 2020. Since 2020, David has been working as a Senior Software Consultant at Epoch Solutions Group Inc. Their most recent role, starting in June 2022, is as a Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions.

David Metzler began their education at Front Range Community College from 2005 to 2008, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in General studies. Following this, they attended the University of Colorado Denver from 2008 to 2010, specializing in Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). David completed their degree in Geography during their time at the university.
