Evgenia Filimianova has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of journalism, communications, filmmaking, and production.

Evgenia started their career in 2009 at the BBC as a Production Assistant, where they worked on multimedia content, produced current affairs programs, and coordinated interviews and studio production.

After their tenure at the BBC, they joined Gazprom UK Ltd. as an Assistant to the Director for a year.

In 2012, they worked at Single Malt Media Ltd. as a Senior Online Producer and Social Media Manager.

From 2018 to 2022, they worked at Sputnik News Ltd. as a Senior Multimedia Correspondent.

In 2021, they took on the role of Filmmaker, directing a YouTube true crime documentary series called "London Crime Stories" and overseeing the writing and filming of the series.

Evgenia also worked at Mimi's Bar & Lounge as the Head of Communications, managing press coverage, social media platforms, and coordinating live concerts.

Currently, they are working as a News Reporter at The Epoch Times.

Evgenia Filimianova has a diverse education history. In 2002, they attended Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management in 2005. Evgenia furthered their education by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies at Randolph College from 2005 to 2008. Later, in 2008, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for a Master of Arts degree in Politics and Communication, which they completed in 2009.
