Mark Tapscott is an accomplished journalist with over three decades of experience in covering Congress, national politics, and issues related to government transparency and accountability. Currently serving as a Congressional Correspondent for The Epoch Times since January 2019, Tapscott also founded the 52-Week Ministry Foundation and edits HillFaith, a platform aimed at sharing positive news with Congressional aides. Previous roles include Executive Editor and Chief of the Investigative Reporting Group at the Daily Caller News Foundation, Executive Editor and founder of the Watchdog Investigative Group at The Washington Examiner, and various editorial positions at The Heritage Foundation and The Journal Newspapers. A member of the 2006 Freedom of Information Act Hall of Fame, Tapscott holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Oklahoma State University and has worked in multiple capacities across different media organizations.
